Methodology

Airete.core publishes educational content at the intersection of nutrition, performance, and practical decision-making. Our goal is clarity and usefulness without overselling certainty.

1) What we publish
We publish:
• Explanatory articles and frameworks (how to think, how to compare options)
• Evidence-informed reviews of concepts, methods, and tools
• Practical checklists and “decision guides” for everyday choices

We do not publish personal medical advice. Content is for general information and education.

2) How we choose sources
We prioritize sources in this order:
1) Systematic reviews and meta-analyses
2) Randomized controlled trials (when relevant and feasible)
3) Prospective cohort studies and well-designed observational research
4) Authoritative clinical or public-health guidelines
5) Mechanistic studies (useful for hypotheses, not final conclusions)

We may reference expert commentary, but we treat it as interpretation, not evidence.

3) How we assess evidence quality
When evaluating studies, we look for:
• Study design fit (does the method answer the question?)
• Sample size and statistical power
• Quality of controls, randomization, and blinding (when applicable)
• Outcome relevance (clinically meaningful vs surrogate markers)
• Replication and consistency across multiple studies
• Conflicts of interest and funding transparency
• Real-world applicability (population, dose, duration, feasibility)

We communicate uncertainty explicitly when evidence is mixed or limited.

4) How we communicate claims
We separate:
• Findings (what the data show)
• Interpretation (what we think it likely means)
• Actionable takeaways (what a reader can reasonably do)

We avoid absolute language (“proves”, “always”, “never”) unless the evidence is unusually strong and consistent.

5) How we handle updates and corrections
Science moves. When important new evidence emerges, we update articles and adjust conclusions.
If we discover an error, we correct it and note the change.

6) Conflicts of interest and transparency
If an article relates to products, services, or partnerships that could influence interpretation, we disclose it clearly.
When affiliate links or sponsorships exist, they are disclosed near the relevant content.

7) Reader feedback
We welcome substantiated corrections and alternative interpretations. High-quality feedback helps improve accuracy and usefulness.
